Minimum qualification for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy Part-1 course - Apass in any of the following examination with Physics. Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics.
Intermediate examination in science from a recognized board. ii. 3 year degree course in science. iii.10+2 examination (academic stream) in science. iv. Pre-degree examination. v. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examination. Provided that there shall be reservation of seats for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes candidates in accordance with the instruction issued by the Central Govt. / State Govts./Union Territory Admins as the case may be from time to time.
Bachelor of Pharmacy is a Graduate academic degree in the field of Pharmacy. The students those are interested in the medical field (except to become a Doctor) can choose this course after the completion of class 12th (PCM/B). After the completion of this degree, the students can practice as a a Pharmacist. These people can work in a range of industries related to the prescription ,manufacturer and provision of medicines. The duration of this course is 4 years. It is a popular job oriented course among the science students after class 12th.This course provides a large no of job opportunities in both public and private sector.
