Diploma in Pharmacy is an undergraduate Diploma Course in the medical field or Pharmacy. Pharmacy is a medical field involved in the preparation, dispensing and appropriate use of medication meant for therapeutic purposes.

Minimum qualification for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy Part-1 course - Apass in any of the following examination with Physics. Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics.

i. Intermediate examination in Science ;
ii. The first year of the three year degree course in Science.
iii. 10+2 examination (academic stream) in Science;.
iv. Pre-degree examination.
v. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examination. Provided that there shall be reservation of seats for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes candidates in accordance with the instruction issued by the Central Govt. / State Govts./Union Territory Admins as the case may be from time to time.

Bachelor of Pharmacy is a Graduate academic degree in the field of Pharmacy. The students those are interested in the medical field (except to become a Doctor) can choose this course after the completion of class 12th (PCM/B). After the completion of this degree, the students can practice as a a Pharmacist. These people can work in a range of industries related to the prescription ,manufacturer and provision of medicines. The duration of this course is 4 years. It is a popular job oriented course among the science students after class 12th.This course provides a large no of job opportunities in both public and private sector.

i. Candidate should pass the intermediate examination of U.P. Board or class 12th examination or its equivalent from any recognised Board/University.
ii. Candidates having a 3 year Diploma in Architecture (10+3) recognised by Central / State Government are also eligible for admission in the first year of B . A r c h . only, subject to the condition that the candidate has passed the Diploma examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate without grace. They will also be required to appear in the entrance examination for the first year of B. Arch. Paper 4.
iii. Those candidates eligible for admission in the B.Tech Programme will also be eligible for B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering) and B.Tech (Biotechnology).
iv. Candidate Should pan Without grace in compusory Subject.
v. 50% in 10+2 with Physics & Chemistry & any one of the following mathematics & Bio technology, Biology.
